The City Dock is at the heart of the Historic District where many of the city's orginal 18th century buildings still stand. In fact, the skyline of the friendly Annapolis harbor has remained much the same for hundreds of years.

Throughout the year, at nearly any time of day, locals and visitors are drawn to the water and scenes of the City Dock. Whether it's an after dinner stroll, or lunchtime on a sunny bench, the dock is the center of the town's activities.

Annapolis was Founded in 1649 and is celebrating 350 years as a city which offers a delightful combination of history and a zest for living. Annapolis is the home of the United States Naval Academy founded in 1845 and also the home of St. John's College, founded in 1696 as King William's School and the third oldest institution of higher learning in the United States.
